This privacy notice explains how Rusted Web (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and, for clients in the UK, Ireland and the EU, the UK GDPR and GDPR.

What information do we collect?

Details you give us through our contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp: your name, email address, phone number, business name and the details of your project.
Billing details needed to invoice you, such as your business address and VAT number.
Website usage data collected through Google Analytics 4, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. This data does not identify you by name.

Why do we use it?

To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
To deliver the services you have asked for and to invoice you.
To improve our website and understand which pages are useful.
To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.

Who do we share it with?

We only share your information with service providers we need to run our business, such as our email provider, hosting provider, accounting software and Google (for analytics). Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. Where that happens, we use providers that are bound by data protection laws or agreements that give a similar level of protection to POPIA.

How long do we keep it?
